So, who are we? And where did we come from? This is a Hello! Project cover group, like many others on the internet. However, our purpose is different: we aim to sing to make others feel happy!

ShiawaseGenkiProject (SGP for short) was founded in the beginning of August 2008 when the famous leader of cover group JunjouMusume, Arinachi, was going through some hard times. Sakura (now leader of SGP) wanted to cheer up Arinachi and let her know that we were here for her. So she gathered her friends up: Danica, Angeru, Ameimi, Logan, and Mitsuki. Together they thought of a way to cheer up Arinachi. Danica came up with the idea to sing a whole album together with some of Arinachi’s favorite songs, and thus ShiawaseGenkiProject was born!

Since then, Logan has graduated, and two new members have joined, Chichiyo and Cecchan. Currently, our first project, Arinachi no Shiawase is finishing up. When it’s done, we’ll surprise Arinachi with it! Next, we’ll start a fall project to introduce school again.
